The funeral prayers of Shaheed Aftab Ali Panhwar

Mirpurkhas, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) The funeral prayer of Shaheed Aftab Ali Panhwar, a soldier of the Pakistan Army and who embraced martyrdom while defending the homeland in Wana, Waziristan were offered in his native village.

A large number of Pakistan Army officers, local administration officials, political and social figures, and citizens attended the funeral prayers. On the occasion, slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Army Zindabad” echoed in the air.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute to the martyr, while floral wreaths were laid on his grave. Residents and notables of the area paid tribute to the martyr by showering flowers on his body.

The bereaved family and locals stated that martyrs are the pride and lifeblood of the nation, who sacrifice their lives for the protection of the country. They added that martyrdom is a great honor, and martyrs always live on in the hearts of the nation.
