The Islamabad High Court (IHC) to hear appeals of Imaan Mazari

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) would take up the appeals on Thursday for hearing against the conviction of Advocate Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in the controversial tweets case

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) would take up the appeals on Thursday for hearing against the conviction of Advocate Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in the controversial tweets case.

Justice Muhammad Asif will hear the case as per the cause list issued by the registrar office.

The petitions for the suspension of sentence of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha have also been fixed for hearing on same day.

Imaan Mazari and Hadi have challenged the order of the trial court of January 24. The trial court had sentenced them to ten years in prison and a fine.
