PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) department Fazal Shakoor Khan on Tuesday chaired a high level meeting to review the progress of new Annual Development program (ADP) and ongoing development schemes and projects.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer Centre, Amjad Shamsheer, along with other relevant departmental officials. On the occasion, the minister was given a detailed briefing on new and ongoing water supply, sanitation and other developmental schemes, challenges, future course of action.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that provision of clean drinking water and improved basic facilities to the public remained one of the top priorities of the KP government.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all new and ongoing projects would be completed within the stipulated timelines and in accordance with the prescribed quality standards, adding that no compromise would be made on transparency, quality and the pace of implementation of development projects.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He further said that all available resources would be utilized to ensure the timely completion of public welfare schemes. He instructed instructed the concerned officials to maintain continuous monitoring of all schemes and to promptly address any obstacles hindering their progress.
The meeting also conducted a detailed review of the performance of ongoing development schemes and discussed various proposals and recommendations aimed at ensuring their effective and timely completion.
