Third edition of Peshawar Literary Festival to begin on April 20

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) The third edition of Peshawar Literary Festival titled "Adab, Kasb, Jawan" ( Literature, Livelihood and Youth) would be held on April 20 and 21 at Nishtar Hall.

The event that would be attended by literary circle of KP was aimed to position literature not merely as creative expression but as a means of fostering intellectual awareness, critical inquiry and social development.

The two-day event would feature panel discussions, dialogues, poetry readings, book launches and sessions on contemporary issues.

A number of prominent writers, poets, scholars, researchers, journalists and artists from across the country are also expected to participate.

According to the organizers, the festival aims to promote a culture of dialogue while reinforcing Peshawar’s role as a vibrant center for literary activities at the national level.

The festival would also encourage the younger generation to engage in reading, critical thinking and constructive discourse.
