Three arrested after police operation in mountainous areas of DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Dera Ghazi Khan Police conducted a major operation against criminal elements in the rugged mountainous areas of Koh-e-Suleman, targeting hideouts of the notorious Ladi Gang criminals.

During the operation, police arrested three close associates and facilitators of Qasim Muawiya group of Ladi gang. Police demolished bunkers, ambush positions and other shelters allegedly used by the criminal group.

A heavy police contingent participated in the operation and they carried out search and sweeping activities at various locations across the mountainous terrain.

DPO Sadiq Baloch said that indiscriminate action against criminals and their facilitators would continue and reaffirmed commitment to pursuing all members of the Qasim Muawiya gang and bringing them to justice. He said the operation would remain ongoing until the gang's members were arrested and brought within the ambit of the law.

The DPO promised to intensify operation against the criminal gangs in the coming days.
