Three arrested for selling fireworks, large quantity seized

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Rail Bazaar police have arrested three shopkeepers on charge of selling fireworks and recovered a large quantity of fireworks material from their possession.

Police spokesman said here Monday that SHO Rail Bazaar police station Tariq Ameer on a tip-off conducted crackdown against illegal sale of fireworks and apprehended three accused identified as Umar, Adnan and Salman.

The police recovered a heavy quantity of fireworks material from the possession of the accused and locked them behind bars while further investigation was under progress, he added.
