Three awarded death sentence in Jand murder case

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) A court in Jand town of Attock on Thursday awarded death sentences to three convicts in a murder case, officials said.

According to the prosecution, the case relates to a 2024 incident in which Naveed Ashraf, a resident of Aurangabad, was shot dead over a financial dispute.

Police had registered the case, completed investigation and submitted the challan before the court.

The verdict was announced by additional session Judge Raja Jehangir Zeb, who, after hearing arguments from both sides and examining the evidence in detail, found all three accused guilty and sentenced them to death.
