Three bodies recovered from different places

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Bodies of three people have been recovered from different areas of the city on Thursday.

According to Edhi’s spokesperson, these bodies were found from Mughalpura, Hanjarwal and South Cantonment.

The body of a 40-year-old unidentified man was found floating in the water from the Mughalpura canal.

Initially, the nature of the incident could not be clarified while the police are investigating.

A 45-year-old unidentified man named Niaz Baig was found dead in the Hanjarwal area, while the body of a 50-year-old unidentified man was also found in the Nadirabad area of South Cantonment. Both the deceased appear to be drug addicts.

According to Edhi’s spokesperson, the bodies have been shifted to the morgue after necessary action, while the police and investigative agencies have collected evidence and started further action.
