CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Police in Chiniot arrested three drug peddlers from different areas and recovered a large quantity of narcotics during ongoing operations.
According to APP correspondent, Muhammad Wala Police Station, and Langrana Police Station conducted separate raids. A total of 2.5 kg hashish and 1.4 kg heroin were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
Cases have been registered against the accused under the provisions of the Narcotics Act at the respective police stations and further investigation is underway.

“A crackdown is underway against drug peddlers under a special campaign. The accused are being punished by ensuring quality investigation of drug cases. Public cooperation is very important for the complete eradication of drugs,” he added.
