RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Courts have sentenced three drug suppliers, including a woman, to a combined 28 years in prison and imposed fines totalling Rs.260,000.0 in separate narcotics cases, here on Tuesday.

According to police, convict Haseena Khan was awarded 10 years’ imprisonment and fined Rs.100,000.0 after being found in possession of 2.4kg of hashish. She had been arrested by R.A. Bazaar Police in May last year.

Another accused, Naheed, was sentenced to nine years in jail with a fine of Rs.

80,000.0 in a case registered by New Town Police in January this year, in which 1.41kg of hashish was recovered.

In a separate case, accused Arsalan was awarded nine years’ imprisonment and fined Rs.80,000.0 after Waris Khan Police recovered 1.48kg of hashish from his possession during his arrest in September last year.

City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani commended the investigation and legal teams, adding that efforts against drug trafficking would continue.
