Three held for cheating, five exam officials removed for SOP violations

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) The board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Wednesday caught two candidates for cheating and one impersonator during the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026, while removing five examination officials for SOP violations.

Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan said that cases against the candidates had been registered and sent to the discipline branch.

He said that two candidates were caught cheating at Government Higher Secondary school Jalalpur Sharif in Jhelum, while an impersonator was held at Government Islamia High School No.

According to the details, three superintendents and two deputy superintendents were removed from duty over negligence, and new officials had been appointed.

The controller said strict monitoring of centres was underway under a zero-tolerance policy to ensure transparency and prevent cheating.
