Three-member theft gang busted

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Police arrested a three-member gang involved in multiple motorcycle and theft incidents, recovering stolen goods worth Rs1.95 million and tracing 13 cases.

The City Burewala Police conducted an operation against criminal elements and apprehended members of the “Azmat alias Ajju” gang, identified as Azmat Ali, Naveed, and Muneeb.

Police recovered nine motorcycles, one rickshaw, mobile phones, cash, and household items from the suspects’ possession. Officials said the arrests were made through continuous efforts and the use of modern technology.

The recovered items were later handed over to their rightful owners in the presence of local notables. Police officials stated that the suspects were involved in stealing motorcycles from outside homes and shops, as well as committing house thefts in Burewala and surrounding areas.
