Three women dis after vehicle falls in ravine

LOWER DIR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Three women were killed and two other persons injured after a Datsun pickup plunged into a deep ravine in the Nawagai Asbanr area, the Rescue officials said on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when the vehicle, driven by a man namely Muhammad Zahir, went out of control and fell into a gorge within the jurisdiction of Asbanr police station.

Among the deceased were the driver’s wife and a woman namely Naseeb Ranra . The injured, including driver Muhammad Zahir and Durna Bibi, were provided first aid and shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Chakdara .

The Rescue officials later confirmed that three women lost their lives in the incident, while two others sustained injuries.
