 hearing adjourned to April 27

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The District & Sessions Court of Islamabad on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf until April 27, as proceedings could not move forward due to a pending decision in the High Court.

The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.

During the hearing, state prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain Kyani appeared before the court and informed that the High Court has reserved its decision on a request related to the appointment of a state counsel.

The prosecutor told the court that due to the reserved verdict, cross-examination of further witnesses could not take place during the hearing.

As a result, the proceedings remained limited and no new testimonies were recorded.

The court directed that all remaining witnesses be summoned for the next hearing to ensure that the trial proceeds without delay once the High Court announces its decision.

After brief proceedings, the judge adjourned the hearing of the case until April 27.

The case relates to the killing of TikToker Sana Yousaf and is currently under trial in the district court.
