Toddler dies as truck hits motorcycle

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) A toddler girl was killed while her parents received injuries in a road accident

here on Sunday.

According to traffic police, the accident occurred at Aghaz Lahore Bridge,

Ferozepur Road where a recklessly driven truck of garbage hit a motorcycle.

As a result, one and a half years old girl died on the spot while her father

and mother suffered injuries.

After the accident, angry people present at the scene caught the truck driver

and tortured him.

On receiving information, the traffic police immediately reached the spot

and brought the situation under control.

Traffic Inspector Kot Lakhpat took the truck driver into custody.

Truck driver, and the vehicle have been handed over to the police

station concerned for legal action.
