The unfortunate tragedy unfolded in Khandi Dheri village, sending shockwaves through the local community.

According to rescue sources, the fire erupted under mysterious circumstances and rapidly spread across the house, consequently turning it into a raging inferno within minutes. The 45-year-old victim, identified as the wife of Muhammad Asghar, was unable to escape and suffered severe burn injuries, dying on the spot.

Rescue teams responded promptly after receiving the alert and reached the area without delay; however, by the time firefighters initiated their operation, the blaze had already caused extensive damage.

Firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the flames, therefore preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent homes.

The body of the deceased was later shifted to a nearby hospital after completing legal formalities, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. Officials described the incident as deeply unfortunate and urged residents to adopt precautionary measures to avoid such tragic occurrences in the future.
