LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider has said that said that the successful operations by security forces against anti-state elements reflect their unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism and ensure peace and security.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of 35 trainee DSPs under the Third Specialized Training Course at the National Police Academy, at the Governor’s House here on Tuesday. He said the country has achieved a great deal in national defense following the Marka-e-Haq.

The DSPs delegation was led by Course Commander National Police academy Aurangzeb. The trainee officers have been recruited for the Balochistan Police.

The Governor Punjab paid tribute to the sacrifices of the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives while maintaining law and order.

He said it is matter of pride that Pakistan is currently the only nuclear power in the Islamic world, hailing country’s leadership for its diplomatic efforts to maintain regional peace and stability.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said Pakistan has always advocated peace, yet no compromise can be made on the security of the country. He said that anti-state elements want to divide the country by foreign funding, promoting separatist movements and various conspiracies, adding that they will never succeed in their nefarious objectives.

He said, "We salute the sacrifices of the martyrs of our security forces. must stand united to counter the conspiracies against the country."

The Punjab Governor further said that those who commit terrorism in the name of islam will be dealt with strictly, adding, no religion allows killing any human being.

He stressed the need to prioritize unity of the country and contribute to its development.

He said Balochistan is the heart of Pakistan, adding, "Anti-state elements are disrupting peace in Balochistan, we must work together to thwart these conspiracies."

Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan also responded to the queries of the visiting officers.
