Transformers' thief held, four electric coils recovered in Paharpur

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) The district police have intensified their crackdown against transformer theft, successfully arresting a suspect and recovering stolen equipment during a targeted operation in Paharpur Circle.

According to police spokesman, a team of Bandkorai police station conducted a successful raid, resulting in the arrest of a suspected transformer thief identified as Muhammad Usman, a resident of Multan.

During the operation, the police recovered four transformer coils from the possession of the accused. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
