Donald Trump abruptly ended a sit-down interview with Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker on Sunday, ripping off his microphone and walking out after she challenged his repeated claims of a rigged 2020 election.

” You’re either crooked or you’re stupid… You’re crooked, and Meet the Press is crooked, and so is ABC, CBS, and CNN. Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough,” Trump said before getting up and leaving.

The interview, airing on NBC, turned confrontational when Welker asked Trump about his idea to use $1.8 billion in taxpayer money for a “weaponization fund” to compensate people who believe they were unfairly targeted by a federal government “weaponizing” the justice system against them.

Trump lashes out at NBC News’s Kristen Welker and abruptly leaves the interview.
