Two arrested after alleged assault on bus hostess

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a man and a hotel manager in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a female bus hostess in Pirwadhi area, a police spokesperson said.

According to the complainant, the suspect, with the help of the hotel manager arranged a room at a hotel where the incident took place.

She alleged that the accused entered the room, made her unconscious and sexually assaulted her.

Pirwadhai police registered a case and carried out a swift operation, leading to the arrest of both suspects.

The victim has undergone a medical examination as part of the legal process.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad stated that the accused will be presented before the court with solid evidence to ensure due punishment. He added that justice will be done in accordance with the law.
