Two butchers booked

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) A crackdown against substandard and illegal meat sale is underway

across the district.

The livestock department raided Adalat Ghar, Agoki Road and Mianapura areas and caught two

butchers red-handed selling meat without official stamp.

Cases have been registered

against the accused.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Director Livestock Dr Tanveer and In-charge Slaughterhouse Muhammad Owais, who inspected the meat on the spot. The inspection revealed that the meat was neither approved by the slaughterhouse nor bore any official stamp.
