RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Two candidates were caught red-handed while cheating during the ongoing matriculation examinations at Government High School, as the Rawalpindi board intensified its crackdown against unfair means.
According to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Rawalpindi, cases were immediately registered against the candidates and forwarded to the discipline branch for further action.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, who visited multiple examination centres, said strict monitoring was being ensured under a zero tolerance policy to eliminate cheating.
He inspected various centres, including Government Associate College for Women Police Station Road Saddar, Government Graduate Gordon College, Government Islamia High school No. 4 Liaquat Road, Government Graduate College Asghar Mall (Centres A and B), and Government Boys High School Sukho.
Officials said a comprehensive monitoring mechanism was in place, including continuous online surveillance through the command and control centre and surprise visits by mobile teams.
