Two coal mine workers die in mine

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Two coal mine workers died and as many were injured in Jamshoro district on Sunday as a rope pulling them up from the mine's depth broke, letting them fall from dozens of meters height.

 The Lakhra Coalmine police informed that Jumo Khan Rajar and Nadir Rajar, both belonging to Sanghar district, lost their lives in the incident.The police added that both of them were pulled out dead.The injured and the dead bodies were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital.The incident happened in a mine operated by Sindh Mine Company.
