Two dacoits injured in police encounter

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Two dacoits wanted in several cases were injured in a police encounter near

here on Thursday.

According to a police spokesperson, the accused were identified as Adeel and Shahzad.

Police were carrying them for recovery when their accomplices opened fire on a police party

near Groser graveyard. In retaliation, the accused suffered bullet injuries and they were

shifted to a local hospital.

They were wanted by police in more than 2 dozen cases of different crimes.
