Two drug peddlers arrested in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers in separate operations and recovered narcotics and liquor worth thousands of rupees.

According to a police spokesman, police arrested an accused, Babar Ali son of Pervaiz Akhtar, a resident of Pindi Jattan, and recovered 1,240 grams of charas from his possession.

In another operation, SHO City Sara-i-Alamgir Raheel Arif arrested an accused, Zain son of Imtiaz, a resident of Nathia Qureshian, and recovered 10 litres of liquor.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway.
