Two held for possessing counterfeit currency notes

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) Jaranwala city police on Monday recovered counterfeit Currency

notes of one million rupees from two persons in tehsil Jaranwala.

According to police, Abdul Qayyum and Ahmad were waiting for

a client at a bus stop near Lahore Morh for delivering the counterfeit

currency notes to him when police raided and arrested them.

A legal action has been initiated against the accused.
