Two houses catch fire in separate incidents in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) A bungalow in Naqash Villas locality in Qasimabad caught fire here on Thursday evening but its residents remained unscathed due to their timely evacuation.

The spokesman of Rescue 1122 informed that all the furniture and fixtures in the house were burnt.

He said as per the initial assessment the fire sparked from a short circuit and in no time it engulfed the house.

The spokesman apprised that another residential unit in Latifabad number 8 near Firdous mosque also caught fire but the firefighters of Rescue 1122 promptly responded and extinguished the blazes. He added that the house was vacant when the fire spread.
