Two members gang involved in house robbery busted

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Police have arrested two members of a gang involved in theft and house burglary and recovered a stolen inverter and battery worth more than Rs250,000.

According to police spokesperson on Sunday, the suspects carried out the burglary while the homeowners were away from home.

Acting on technical surveillance and human intelligence, police successfully traced and arrested the accused and recovered the stolen items.

Investigators said that the suspects were involved in theft and housebreaking incidents in the area and are being further questioned regarding their possible involvement in other crimes.

SP Saddar Anum Sher stated that the arrested individuals would be presented before the court with solid evidence to ensure their prosecution. She emphasized that those who deprive citizens of their valuable property would not be able to evade the law, reaffirming the police department’s commitment to protecting public property and bringing offenders to justice.

Further investigations are underway.
