Two more Policemen succumbs to injuries

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Two more personnel of Nawabshah Police were martyred in separate road accidents while performing their duties. Constable Ibrahim Brohi and Head Constable Rano Khan Mangrio embraced martyrdom, bringing both grief and pride to the police department.

Constable Ibrahim Brohi succumbed to his injuries after battling for his life in the hospital. He had been critically injured two days earlier during a courageous police encounter against criminals, which was followed by a road accident.

His bravery and dedication to duty will be remembered as an example for others. His funeral prayer was offered on Wednesday at Police Headquarters Nawabshah with full official honors. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Shaheed Benazirabad Range, Faisal Bashir Memon, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Shaheed Benazirabad Sameer Noor Channa, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani, senior police officers and a large number of personnel.

A police contingent presented a salute, and prayers were offered for the elevation of his ranks.

In another tragic incident, Head Constable Rano Khan Mangrio was struck by a wagon bearing registration No. R-0333 while performing his duty. He sustained severe injuries and later passed away. His funeral prayer was also held at Police Headquarters Nawabshah, attended by DIGP Faisal Bashir Memon, SSP Sameer Noor Channa, and other police officials who paid tribute to the martyr.

A police contingent presented a farewell salute in his honor. SSP Sameer Noor Channa expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating that the force has lost two sincere and brave colleagues. He emphasized that their sacrifices would not go in vain and reaffirmed that every police officer remains committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens. He also assured that the families of martyrs would not be left alone, and the entire force stands with them in their difficult time.
