Two more public parks inaugurated in NA-130

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Lahore Development Authority Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmed, along with Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Rashid Nasrullah, inaugurated two more public parks in NA-130.

The newly inaugurated parks include Takoni Park and National Town Park.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chairman LDA Mian Marghoob Ahmed highlighted the importance of public parks in promoting a healthy society. He said that trees and plants in parks help purify the air and protect the environment from pollution.

He further stated that public parks enhance the beauty of the city and make the surroundings more pleasant. Mian Marghoob Ahmed added that NA-130 is being developed as a model constituency in terms of development projects, noting that a total of 13 public parks have so far been inaugurated in the area.

He said these parks are equipped with modern facilities for men, women, and children, and added that further work on the construction, renovation, and beautification of parks in NA-130 will also be completed. He emphasized that these initiatives are being carried out under the leadership of PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif, focusing on public welfare.

Mian Marghoob Ahmed reiterated that all parks in the constituency will be upgraded to exemplary standards as part of continued development efforts.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Rashid Nasrullah said that the renovation and development of parks reflect the progressive vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and will help promote healthy recreational activities among the public.
