Two officials held after ACE detects embezzlement in medicines

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) A team of Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) arrested two officials during a raid at a government hospital in Dunyapur tahsil after finding embezzlement in medicines.

The raid was conducted on the orders of regional director ACE Multan Basharat Nabi in compliance with standing instructions of Director General ACE Punjab Suhail Zafar Chatha to follow a zero tolerance policy against corruption.

Deputy director investigation Lodhran district, Imran Arif Sial, along with Circle Officer Syed Ali Hassan Gilani, raided the offices of THQ hospital Dunyapur and discovered large-scale embezzlement of medicines allocated for public healthcare.

A case was registered and two accused Suleman Saeed and Adnan Saeed were arrested in connection with the embezzlement.

Further investigations are underway to determine the volume of embezzlement and identify any additional individuals involved.
