Two policemen, forest official martyred, several injured in suicide attack: Police

TANK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) At least two policemen and an employee of Khyber Pakthunkhwa Forest Department were martyred and several others sustained injuries in a suicide attack here in Tank district on late Thursday night.

According to Tank police, the terrorists rammed explosive vehicle at Manchikhel check post on DI Khan-Tank road.

As result of which two policemen and an employee of forest department were martyred and several others injured.

The martyred policemen identified were constables Tila Muhammad and Bilal while Noor Azam of forest department embraced Shahadat.

Soon after the blast, fire was exchanged between security forces and the attackers.

A clearance operation was launched soon after the incident. Police said the casualty figure likely to increase further due to precarious conditions of several wounded personnel.

Manchikhel check post was badly damaged in the attack.
