DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) The district police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in multiple incidents of theft and robbery, recovering stolen property, including a tractor and cash, during a successful operation.
According to police spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Saddar Circle Kashif Sattar Khan, along with Station House Officer, Shorkot Aftab Alam Baloch, led the operation.
The police recovered a tractor (model 2007) that had been snatched a few days earlier from Bypass Road. The arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Rasool alias Umar, son of Naimat Khan and Akhtar Zaman, son of Ghulam Hussain.
The police said the suspects were involved in various cases of theft and robbery. During the operation, officers also recovered two Qingqi rickshaws, an Alto car allegedly used in robberies, and cash amounting to Rs 1,40,000. The suspects have been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
The recovered tractor has been handed over to its rightful owner, who expressed gratitude to the police team for their prompt action. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kashif Sattar Khan reiterated that operations against criminals would be continued without any discrimination.
