UK PPP figure congratulates Pakistan’s president on two years in office

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 17th Mar, 2026) A senior figure, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the UK has congratulated Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, on completing two years in office.

In a statement released to the media , Vice President, PPP UK North Zone,Chaudhry Kamran Manzoor praised Zardari’s role in strengthening democracy, upholding the constitution and reinforcing state institutions during his tenure.

He said the PPP had consistently advocated for democratic values, the rights of citizens and the unity of the federation, adding that the party had become more organised under Zardari’s leadership.

Manzoor described the president as a “far-sighted” leader who had supported democratic continuity during challenging periods and contributed to political stability in the country.

He added that overseas Pakistanis remained committed to the country’s development and stood by the PPP leadership.

The statement concluded with prayers for Zardari’s health and continued success in serving Pakistan and its democratic system.
