Ulema Council chief praises Saudi Arabia for exemplary Hajj arrangements

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Ulema Council Pakistan (UCP) Chairman Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi paid glowing tribute to the Saudi government and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for “exceptional and historic arrangements” made for Hajj 2026, saying the world witnessed an extraordinary example of discipline, hospitality and devotion in serving millions of pilgrims.

Addressing a Juma congregation at Jamia Masjid Gol here, he said that Saudi authorities had set a remarkable benchmark in managing the annual pilgrimage by ensuring outstanding facilities, smooth coordination and foolproof arrangements for pilgrims from across the globe.

He congratulated the Saudi leadership and institutions for successfully conducting the massive Hajj operation in an organized and dignified manner.

Zahid Qasmi said that the arrangements made for security, accommodation, transportation and medical services reflected the Saudi administration’s round-the-clock commitment and professional excellence despite the presence of millions of pilgrims in the holy cities.

He said that “Road to Makkah” initiative introduced for Pakistani pilgrims was a highly commendable and visionary step that significantly facilitated intending pilgrims from Pakistan.

Later, he prayed for the peace, security and continued progress of Saudi Arabia, long life for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and further strengthening of Pak-Saudi brotherly relations.
