Under the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme (PMYLS), laptops have been distributed among the students of 9 districts of Balochistan on Tuesday.

A felicitation ceremony was organized in this regard at Allama Iqbal University Regional Office Kalat.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahnawaz Baloch and Deputy Regional Director Allama Iqbal Open University Hamal Baloch distributed laptops among the students. Addressing the ceremony of the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahnawaz Baloch and Deputy Regional Director Allama Iqbal Open University Hamal Baloch said that the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme is an excellent effort to equip the youth with modern education, research, and digital skills.

They said that laptops have been given to 26 students from 9 districts of Balochistan. Addressing the ceremony, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the youth of Balochistan are extremely talented. If they are provided with appropriate opportunities and resources, they could achieve significant successes in every field of life.

Under the leadership of Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan and Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti, the government is taking serious steps for the welfare, education, and development of the youth, and this scheme is part of this vision. Students should use this laptop for positive and constructive activities and focus on education, research, and other activities instead of unnecessary use of social media, he said.
