UoS holds ceremony under Ehsas Tree Plantation Campaign

SHANGLA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) University of Shangla (UoS) on Thursday arranged a ceremony under Ehsas Tree Plantation Campaign to aware people role of trees to control pollution.

The ceremony among others was attended by Vice Chancellor UoS, Dr. Sardar Khan, Deputy Commissioner, officials of forest division, teachers and students.

Vice Chancellor UoS planted a tree to launch campaign stressing upon students to plant maximum number of trees for better environment. He said that increasing pollution can be controlled by joint efforts of society and to increase our forest land.

He also reiterated commitment to support government in its efforts to plant trees besides creating awareness among people about impacts of trees on our environment.
