US stock indices close higher Thursday

NEW YORK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 10th Apr, 2026) Major stock indices on Wall Street closed higher on Thursday. The S&P 500 rose by 41.13 points, or 0.61 percent, to end at 6,823.94 points.

The Nasdaq Composite gained 187.42 points, or 0.81 percent, reaching 22,819.30.

Similarly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 273.73 points, or 0.57 percent, to finish at 48,183.65 points.
