Veteran educator Malik Muhammad Siddique laid to rest in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Retired headmaster Malik Muhammad Siddique, father of senior journalist Aurangzeb Malik, Haroon Malik, Dr. Khalid, and Malik Tariq, passed away on Friday after a brief illness.

His funeral prayers were offered at Kanwan cemetery, where a large number of citizens, including journalists, politicians, lawyers, and local residents, gathered to pay their final respects.

The funeral was attended by a wide circle of well-wishers who expressed grief over his demise and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

He was later laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard amid emotional scenes and prayers from mourners present on the occasion.
