Veteran Police constable retires after 39 years of service in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Police Constable Zafar Iqbal retired from service after completing 39 years in the police department, receiving a warm and dignified farewell at Bhawana Police Station in recognition of his long-standing contributions.

In this regard on Monday, a special ceremony was organized in his honor, attended by SHO Bhawana Police Station Inspector Asadullah, fellow officers and a large number of police personnel. Participants paid tribute to the retiring constable’s dedication, professionalism and commitment throughout his career.

At the time of his retirement, Zafar Iqbal was serving at Bhawana Police Station. Colleagues and senior officers praised his exemplary service record and acknowledged his valuable role in maintaining law and order during nearly four decades of duty.

During the ceremony, police officials presented bouquets, commemorative shields and gifts to the retiring officer. He was later given an official send-off with full honors and protocol, while officers extended their best wishes for his health, happiness and success in the years ahead.
