Voice Chairman Central Anjaman Tajran Gohar Kashmiri and other office bearers announces disassociation from JAAC

MUZAFFARABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) The Voice chairman Central Anjaman Tajran Gohar Kashmiri, President Anjaman Madina Market Raja Abrar Mustafa, President Transport operators Union Muzaffarabad, Division Khawaja Azam Rasool and other officials and stake holders have announced complete disassociation from banned Joint Awami Action Committee(JAAC) for its unconstitutional activities while addressing a Press conference held in Central press Club Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir here on Saturday.

The Voice chairman Central Anjaman Tajran Gohar Kashmiri has said that during peaceful struggle for fundamental rights of the people, the Trade unions and Transport Associations have played a vital role and forced the government for providing Flour and Electric on cheap rates.

He said that besides the resolving the issue of basic needs of the common citizens there was no need of getting involved in unconstitutional demands including the Refugee seats but unfortunately the unlawful JAAC has unilaterally demanded additional unnecessary issues without talking the Trade unions us into confidence or holding any consultation.

Gohar said that first we are the responsible citizens of Azad Kashmir and we have also responsibilities of detecting every good and bad.

He said that recently in US and Iran war , the Prime minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshall have played a pivotal role in halting war and establishing peace in the region which was wildly appreciated around the world.

Voice chairman said that we had started this moment just for the resolution of fundamental rights of the common Masses and we held negotiations with the AJK government and members of Federal government and these talks yielded good results and our most of the demands were approved including the cheap electricity and flour ,besides the minimization of taxes and other better health and educational infrastructure were in progress, he said.

The special health and educational packages were also granted that was a big relief for common citizens.

Gohar asserted that the Federal government has also granted the chunk of RS72 billion rupees subsidy for the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said that committees were constituted for other demands to take concrete action in this regard.

He said that our movement was purely for public issues and there was no any political and ultra social agenda but later few elements turned the movement for unconstitutional demands which resultantly derailed the movement from the right track, Gohar added.

He said that We are stake holders of our state and its government and constitution and departments are our own and we are part and parcel of our state and we should be cautious for the security of our territory.

Gohar was of the that this movement should focus just purely public interested issues and avoid any confrontation against the state at every aspect and saying that we have nothing to do constitutional matters including the Refugee seats, however, it should be discussed by our parliamentarians in the House in view of the Importance of Kashmir issue.

He said that banned JAAC included Refugee seats in the charter of demand without taking into confidence and we protested against it however, the government take this issue at legislative Assembly for its pros and cons and was declared a constitutional issue and JAAC was assured that this issue would be resolved through the House which is the legal forum.

Gohar said that peaceful dialogue is the only way for resolving the issues within the ambit of constitution and the stubbornness worsened the situation for common citizens. He appealed the government and banned JAAC to stage the table for negotiations and resolve the issues and he also requested the banned JAAC to be flexible in it's attitude move forward for the talks while taking the national interest into account and he also requested the traders not to become the part of shutter down protest and open their shops to restore their business activities and demenish the vows of the masses.

The president Tajran Madina Market Raja Abrar Mustafa while endorsing the point of view of Voice Chairman Anjaman Tajran Muzaffarabad Division Gohar Kashmiri, has said that we stood up by every call of banned JAAC just for the public interest and rights of the common people but not for any personal agenda.

He said that most of issues were resolved and some are in the progress and now it was useless to indulge in constitutional matters and saying that mandate of hatred demonstrations against the state was not been allowed to unlawful JAAC leadership by the public which is not in the interest of nation , he maintained.

He said that our mandate is just to struggle for public rights but not the constitutional issue and constitutional matters are progrative of the Assembly.

The President Traders of Madina Market Raja Abrar said the movement was hijacked by few elements for their heinous designs and anti Pakistan slogans would not be tolerated because we Kashmiri people love Pakistan which is their ultimate goal.

He Traders of Muzaffarabad Division have decided not to become the part of unlawful JAAC.On the occasion, the President Transport operators Union Muzaffarabad Division Khawaja Azam Rasool has said that we had supported the banned Joint Awami Action Committee ( JAAC) just for the basic rights of the public but not the spreading havoc in the society and now JAAC has changed their actual agenda and moved it anti Pakistan and anti Pak Army agenda that would not be allowed by the Kashmiri people as we love Pakistan and its armed forces.

Every Kashmiri knows that during 2005 devastated Earth the people of Pakistan, government of people in great zeal and fervor moved forward for helping the Kashmiri people and thronged in every tremor hit places of Azad Kashmir besides, Pak Army played a historic role in rescue and relief operations in all earthquake hit areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and how Kashmiri people forget such a great brotherly helping hand of our Pakistani brothers and sisters.

He announced that Transport operators Union will restore it's public service from today and appeal to all other stake holders to restore their day to today activities and disassociate themselves from banned JAAC.
