Wafaqi mohtasib regional head inspects BISP hyderabad office, registration centre

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Senior Advisor and Regional Head of Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Hyderabad Ghulam Rasool Ahpan on Friday conducted an inspection visit to the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Zonal Office Hyderabad and its Registration Centre.

According to a press release, the visit was aimed at reviewing the overall functioning of the BISP office and registration centre, assessing the facilities available to the general public and observing the procedures being followed for registration and resolution of issues faced by beneficiaries and applicants.

Mr. Ahpan was accompanied by Assistant Registrar / Implementation Officer Munir Abbasi and DPA and Media Focal Person of Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Hyderabad Affan Ali.

Upon arrival, the Zonal In-charge BISP Hyderabad Faiz Ali Awan welcomed the Regional Head and briefed him in detail about the overall working procedures of the office, registration mechanism, public facilitation arrangements and the challenges being faced in the smooth delivery of services to deserving beneficiaries.

The Regional Head inspected various sections of the BISP Zonal Office and subsequently visited the Registration Centre to observe the registration and verification process. He also reviewed the arrangements made for facilitating citizens, particularly women, elderly persons and other vulnerable segments of society who visit the centre for registration and related services.

The Regional Head emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency, efficiency, accessibility and timely redressal of public grievances. He stressed that citizens approaching public offices should be treated with courtesy and respect and that every possible effort should be made to minimize inconvenience and unnecessary delays.
