Wall Street closes mixed amid pressure from technology stocks

WASHINGTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 03rd Jul, 2026) US stock indices closed mixed on Thursday as technology shares came under pressure.

The Standard and Poor's 500 Index slipped 0.06 percent, losing 1.53 points to close at 7,478.66.

The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 226.28 points, or 0.87 percent, to end the session at 25,813.75.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 560 points, or 1.10 percent, to close at 52,865.24.
