Waris Khan Police arrest thief in September 2025 jewellery shop robbery case

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a thief involved in a jewellery shop theft case and recovered stolen property worth over Rs 200,000 along with Rs 69,000 in cash obtained from the sale of the stolen rings.

According to police spokesperson, the accused stole three rings from a jewellery shop under the pretext of making a purchase and fled away from the scene in the jurisdiction Waris Khan police station.

The incident was registered in September 2025.

Police said the arrest was made after utilizing technical and human intelligence to trace the accused.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad appreciated performance of police team and stated that the accused will be presented in court with solid evidence and further legal proceedings are underway.
