WASA announces revised water supply schedule

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) The Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) has announced a revised drinking water supply schedule for the city after Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

The WASA spokesman said on Saturday that the new water supply schedule was issued on the directions of Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza who directed the relevant directorates to maintain uninterrupted water supply in accordance with the notified timings and facilitate citizens during the post-Eid period.

He said that the consumers would receive water for two and a half hours each in the morning and evening to ensure smooth distribution and effective management of the utility service.

He said that drinking water would be supplied daily from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the morning while evening supply would continue from 4:00 p.

The revised timings had been devised to streamline water distribution operations and ensure equitable supply to consumers across different localities of the city, he added.

Meanwhile, Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza urged the citizens to use drinking water judiciously and avoid unnecessary wastage.

He said that WASA would continue supplying water according to the announced schedule and all operational teams had been directed to remain vigilant to address any complaints regarding water supply.

WASA is committed to provide essential services to the residents of Faisalabad and the agency was making every effort to ensure efficient water management and uninterrupted service delivery for the convenience of the public, he added.
