WASA ensures uninterrupted water, drainage services during Eid holidays

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The Water And Sanitation Agency (WASA) maintained uninterrupted water supply and drainage services throughout the Eid-ul-Azha holidays as its operational staff remained fully active in the field and resolved public complaints on an emergency basis across the city.

Managing Director (MD) WASA Saqib Raza personally monitored sewerage-related complaints on the second and third days of Eid and directed WASA officers and field staff to ensure immediate response to all public issues without delay.

He said that the staff of sewerage, water supply, disposal stations and other operational divisions performed their duties efficiently during Eid holidays, enabling the citizens to continue receiving uninterrupted civic services despite increased operational pressure.

He said that complaints received from different areas of the city regarding drainage and sewerage issues were addressed promptly while officials and workers showing timely response and good performance were also appreciated.

He said that WASA staff utilized all available resources for the immediate redressal of complaints and maintained strict monitoring of complaint cells, disposal stations and staff attendance during Eid days.

He said that provision of uninterrupted water supply and drainage facilities to citizens during the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Azha remained WASA Faisalabad’s top priority, adding that all complaints registered in complaint cells were resolved on urgent basis.
