RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Water and Sanitation Agency WASA Rawalpindi organized a special walk to mark anniversary of “Ma’raka-e-Haq” victory. The event was attended by Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi, Azizullah Khan, Director Finance & Revenue Tahir Bashir, along with a large number of WASA officers and staff.
Participants raised slogans of “Long Live Pakistan” and “Long Live Pakistan Armed Forces,” expressing solidarity and national spirit throughout the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi Azizullah Khan described as the effective and decisive response of the Pakistan Armed Forces, India was compelled to agree to a ceasefire.
He further remarked that during “Ma’raka-e-Haq,” Pakistan delivered a strong response to a much larger adversary, which, according to him, diminished its arrogance and expectations.
The MD also said that following this development, regional notions of Indian dominance had been weakened, and India faced international embarrassment.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Highlighting the Kashmir issue, he called for its resolution in accordance with United Nations resolutions to ensure lasting peace in the region and to grant the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.
Reaffirming his commitment, Azizullah Khan stated that the people and armed forces of Pakistan remain fully prepared for the defense of the homeland and will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for national security. He added that any future aggression would be met with full strength and unity.
In conclusion, he said that the completion of one year since the success of “Ma’raka-e-Haq” is a moment of gratitude to Almighty Allah. He urged the nation to offer prayers of thanks, remember Pakistan’s security and progress in their prayers, and actively contribute to the country’s development and prosperity.
