WASA MD for accelerating pace of development projects under ADP schemes

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed chaired a meeting to review the progress on ongoing development projects under Annual Development Program (ADP) schemes.

He issued instructions to all directors to further accelerate the pace of development projects.

During the meeting, a detailed review was taken of the progress of installation of manhole safety nets. Around 11,000 safety nets will be installed within 35 sub-divisions. The safety nets will be installed on manholes in densely populated areas.
