Wildlife operation, accused of skinning rare animals arrested

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Wildlife Ranger team on Sunday raided Shahdara area, where accused of skinning rare animals arrested, several mummified animals and birds recovered, the accused used to kill, mummify and sell valuable wildlife.

According to the Punjab Wildlife Department sources, two lions, two blackbucks, leopards, crocodiles, ostriches, monkeys, parrots, pigeons, rabbits and partridges were also recovered from the accused, while five deer horns were also recovered.

According to authorities, a case was registered against the accused at Shahdara Police Station.
