Woman commits suicide after hanging her three children

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) A woman committed suicide after allegedly hanging her three children near Katchiabadi Mumtazabad Phatak area on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the emergency control room received a call that a woman had allegedly hanged her children before taking her own life.

Responding promptly, two emergency vehicles along with rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, rescuers were informed by local residents that the woman had reportedly hanged her three children from a ceiling fan using a rope and later ended her own life by hanging herself from the roof. Locals had already brought down them before the rescue teams reached the site.

Rescue personnel immediately initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in an effort to save the victims but all four couldn't survive and died on the spot.

Police concerned reached the spot and launched interrogation into the incident.
